I wanted a 'marble shooting game' and this one also said it was for Windows Vista. Installed fine, but I wish it came with some game information in the packaging or more in the program, such as how many downloads are available and how many levels there are. Over all a good puzzle type game that lets you restart at the level you exited from.
This game is definitely one of the most addictive games I've played. Each level is progressively more challenging. However since the faster each section is completed even the basic levels retain their challenge. This is the fourth PopCan game I own and definitely the one I enjoy the most.
I have run it on three different computers. It seems to work best on my XP machine which is older than the machines I have that run Vista. Despite the fact that it seems to run slower on Vista it still functions well and is still enjoyable on the Vista systems.
I am a 38 yr. old stay-at-home mother of 4 and, although I hate to say it, I am addicted to Zuma.
This is MY game.
I shudder to think how much time I've wasted with this.
The gist of this game is kind of silly-sounding. What you're doing is shooting colored marbles out of a frog's mouth at a line of moving marbles. You try to get 3+ of the same color marbles in a row so that they disappear, trying to get rid of all the marbles before they go down the drain.
The levels get increasingly difficult as you go along. (I have been stuck at 12 forever. I blame my mouse.)
I play for a couple rounds a day, most days but not all. Sometimes, my few minutes is more like a few hours. (Not usually.)
Our family LOVES the PopCap games. We have several. This is the only one I play. (I'm not into video games.) This brand is especially nice. When you load a new game onto your computer, you also load samples of their other games. It's nice to try them before purchasing. Honestly, I don't think there has been one my family hasn't liked. We have bought a lot of them.
Another really nice thing about this brand is the fact that you don't need the disc after you've loaded the game onto your computer. (Share with a friend!!) No need to search all over the place for misplaced discs!! Yay!!!
My computer has XP, the kids' has Vista. All the PopCap games run on both just fine.
