Date undefinedThe Monkees have been packaged and re-packaged so much that it is sometimes quite baffling to figure out where to start when trying to track down a good "greatest hits" package without taking a great hit in the bank account.
Well, the look is over.
This 20 song collection captures what made the group a hit machine, with some nice tidbits in the mix. Granted, the foursome was a corporate creation, but it cannot be denied the immense pop culture impact they had back in the day and continue to have in the entertainment industry. The one-disc collection at an affordable price gives the listener a good overview of a group that grew into the role of recording artists.
