Date undefinedMost of their albums are being terrorized by some complete and absolute moron writing one star review after one star review (simply to get attention). It seems they're under the mistaken impression that this is "clever". Click on the button labeled "report this" for every one of them, then write a short letter to Amazon about them. I've done this before, they WILL disappear.

Date undefinedMeddle is the album that transitions from the early Syd Barret days to the sound most people know from "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were here"
As A huge fan of Floyd, and only 26 years old, I can easily see that this is an amazing musical performance regardless of the "Pink Floyd" name.
Haunting the then future Dark Side of the Moon sound, but still exploring the experimental "psychedelic" ( a watery classification) sound that was early PF. It doesn't hold the memorable, sale friendly tunes of latter albums, but it is undeniably Floyd, and a simply great musical composure.
It's (thankfully) far from what could have been at the time or currently "pop" music. To label it pretentiously; it's a sound requiring a lot of head space and imagination.
Not something you could play while vacuuming the house, but better for exploration of your own mind, and imagination. This is one of those albums that is NOT for casual listening, and I'll go far enough to say that this is one of those works that in distant time, could reasonably compared to music greats at Bach or Beethoven, given due time.
Simply, if you deny the artistic merit of this album publicly, people should question the depth of your musical ear. The only reason that I NOW review this album is that I have realized I lost the CD copy of this album, much much to my extreme dismay.
