Video Game

I have to say,it's difficult to put this game down. Using your four main buttons on the PSP you tie together strings of rhythmic beats while the little Patapons keep the beat and repeat everything you hit. Each beat has it's own command that tells the warriors whether to attack, defend, move forward or start a special chant. Successfully completing a certain number of rhythms in a row will result in frenzy mode which makes the little guys attacks much faster. This game even comes with a great story line that is pretty easy to follow.
While fighting you'll even be able to pickup upgrades which will apply to certain warriors to help you progress in the game like armor, weapons new drums, food and materials for crafting new warriors. Lots of little side areas to to give variety to the game.
If you're looking for a fun and addictive, yet easy to play game try this.
I am not your normal video game junkie. The last real game I played was Link on Nintendo. I just can't stand most new(i.e. FPS) games. This game however, is fantastic. Just the right amount of strategy, mixed with the rythym part on the buttons, to make me play it all the way to the end. The graphics are cartoonish, but very crisp. I really like the little eyeball critters! And you will sing the chants in your sleep for weeks(Chicka chicka pata pon!). If you are looking for something new and different, you will love this.
This is an extremely fun game. You guide your army on a variety of missions, whether it be hunting for food or marching them to battle, you command it all with the beat of your drum. You get to build your army, equip them and also build up Patopolis. Great stylized and simplistic art and really cool but simple game play. It's addictive but easy to pick up and put down. I'd give this to younger kids knowing they'd be able to play it and not get too confused. Great overall, recommended for anyone willing to try something new.
