I watched the show and decided to buy the book. I couldn't sit down and eat slow like he said, I tried but I was always busy with kids. I tried this for about a month and I actually didn't lose much of anything and I ate what I wanted when I wanted and didn't eat near as much as I used to. It actually made me think about food a lot more and I was always thinking about whether I was hungry or not.
I have so much enjoyed this purchase!! It's a great read and quick. It's not like other "diet" books. This IS a true way of living and being at peace with food. It's not the enemy, your own mind is and Paul McKenna's book reveals the way to get past that and become in touch with your body all the while the pounds are shedding!!
I can't get over how simple this process is. The CD is relaxing and affirming; the "rules" are easy and effective. I've lost 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs) in 2 wks without an ounce of suffering, depravation, or craving. What more could anyone want?
