Firefly (Original Television Soundtrack)
Date undefinedI've had this soundtrack for a while now. Ever since the Serenity soundtrack came out I had been circling the racks like a vulture hoping for the show to get it's due.
One of the most common complaint's is that these aren't the full musical pieces. And it's true, they're not. But they're like they were in the show. Unfortunately, because Firefly is getting old for a series, we probably won't get full versions until the 15th anniversary or something. Considering that they put out things like the Survivor TV-series soundtrack, I think we're lucky to get this.
The mixture of country or mountain music with more traditional sci-fi music is a unique and clever one, to be sure. I always liked how each piece of music was specifically designed for each character, including the ship, and how each piece moved seamlessly from one to the other. Very well done.
Even though it leaves me wanting more, I'm very happy they came out with a soundtrack for one of the greatest sci-fi shows of all time.

Date undefinedI am such a fan of Firefly, I had to have this for my collection. It's a very fine piece of work. The music included puts you in the show! I have watched the entire series and Serenity The Movie over and over, and this cd does it justice.
