the music from this series would continue to haunt me long after I watched the shows. I couldn't wait to get the soundtrack. Murray Gold is an amazing composer. I swear, the music sounds as though it was written and performed for the movies. The greatest thing about the latest series has been it's production values, writing, acting, underlined by the superb music. All of this makes this show, indeed, one of the finest on either side of the pond.
I like this CD even more than I like the music for season 3 of Doctor Who...and that's saying something!
The different themes are in turn lovely, exciting and so memorable.
I especially like the two sung pieces, which must have been written especially for the show; they are so perfect for Rose and the Doctor!
I wish I could find more CDs of music by these talented composers.
Sincerely, jane
