Battlestar Galactica: Season Two

I am so in love with the Galactica series, and this cd (+ the seasons one and three) makes it possible to see the episodes when you close your eyes and just listen. Bear McReary has truly managed to find the atmosphere for everything that takes place on the battlestar and its surroundings. So if you are a fan you should really add this to your collection.Amazon.com Exclusive: Battlestar Galactica Franchise Collection (Season One | Season 2.0 | Season 2.5 | Season 3.0 | BSG Razor)

This soundtrack is in my opinion the most varied and engrossing of all the BSG discs. Not to say the others are bad of course!

The following tracks make it worth the price alone;

Roslin and Adama
Something Dark is Coming
Black Market
Pegasus
The Cylon Prisoner
Prelude to War

I strongly recommend this. Any movie/TV score lover can't go wrong with this.

This is my favorite BSG soundtrack, particularly "Prelude to War" (#17). The orchestration varieties and emotionalism of the music continue to be quite powerful (and entertaining) and make the music strong enough to stand on its own without even needing to be attached to the show.
