I watched this after watching the HD-DVD edition of Roy Orbison: A Black and White Night. The audio transfer was inferior and the performance was not at all what I expected. I know the band members are older now but the performance was nothing like I remember the Moody Blues. I couldn't watch the whole concert.
I am from the Moody Blues era and bought this based on other reviews hoping to hear the Moody Blues at their best instead it was a concert absolutely butchered by the sound people. For a digitally recorded concert, you don't use tiny Fender/Marshall amps from the 60's (look on stage) to bring out the band's outstanding capabilities to use synthesizers and keyboards and then completely drown it out with TWO drummers. It ends up sounding like a high school drum concert on most songs except for a few of the acoustic type numbers. Put the drums behind a baffle or with propertly set microphones and then mix properly!! I know someone who does this for a living and he agteed with everthing I said. Another blunder was the microphone placement for the flutist so you could hear every phff, phff, out of her mouth right into the mic. If they had done this right, this could have been one of their greatest live recordings from the group but evidently the sound guys were totally unprofessional and otherwise were maybe too young to know how to handle the incredible talent of this band.
