Date undefinedI am a hugh fan of Twilight and other series books. This was a wonderful read I read it in one night and had to reserve the second one from the library to pick up tonight. The way Vampires are described is just so different and creative. The detail of their past lives and the ones that protect them. I can tell the story goes much deeper and I am looking forward to reading the second one this weekend. Enjoy!

Date undefinedThis book is a little vapid, but enjoyable. The writing is so-so, but the plot has a lot to offer. De La Cruz, however, did not take advantage of that. I believe that a book, even if it is a part of a series, should have the ability to stand on its own as a good book. This one does not. There is no climax. The book ends with little excitement. I believe what should have been included in this book has probably been saved for the second book in the series, despite the fact that excluding those events makes this book only a little enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend it if you are willing to be disappointed by the ending (or lack thereof).

Date undefinedExtremely well written, and leaves you thirsting for more. There is romance, drama, vampires, a little something for everyone to enjoy! I would recommend this book to every single person out there that liked Twilight, for this is the best book series I have found so far that even competes with Twilight. The second and third book in the series leave you stunned and I was at Walmart at almost 2 AM looking for the 2nd book for how badly I wanted the book!
