Date undefinedYes, the lyrics are lame and the beats are slow and basic compared to the hyped-up modern-electro sound. But this outstanding collection of old-school rap is where it all came from. If you were or remain to be a fan of this genre or if you are simply looking to educate yourself about the roots of rap, then this collection is for you. I would also highly recommend Volume 2 and Volume 3 of this series (if you can find them - they are both out of print).
