My husband and myself spent hours just sitting in our car in the driveway laughing our butts off and reading this book to eachother. Thank you Laurie Notaro I am now going to read everything you have written and am going to buy "flaming tantrum" for everyone I know.

Date undefinedI saw this book as a freebie for my kindle and thought what the heck, I'd give it a try. I'd never heard of Laurie Notaro and since there was nothing to lose then it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
OMG! I laughed out loud and of course just had to read parts to my husband. His first comments were "Does the $1 an hour really work? I have a five, will that keep you quiet so I can read?" I swear it was like talking to a friend on the phone - what a hoot!
Without the freebie I might never have heard of Laurie and now I am already ordering the rest of her books. In fact several copies so that I can share with my firends!
