1,000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die

I bought this book before a recent road trip with my husband. It was very handy to give me insight to places we were visiting or ideas I hadn't already had. Overall it's just a fun book to have! I like to highlight all the places we have been.

I enjoy traveling and always looking for a new place to explore and what to do when I am there. This book tells you exactly that and more. When the best time to go and how much you will be spending on rooms and excursions. I really enjoyed going through this book and highlighting where I have been and where I want to go. This book is exactly what I was looking for. THANK YOU!!

This book was very interesting. Limiting it to 1,000 things is both a plus and a minus for it. On one hand, there are things excluded from the book that I felt should have been in there in some locations. On the other hand, limiting it to 1,000 things keeps the book from being too long and cumbersome. Overall, this book was an enjoyable read but when traveling, I would definitely couple it with your own research about interesting attractions in the locale you are visiting.
