10 Minute Solution: Pilates

I bought this DVD a while ago. I really enjoy that there is motivational instruction without sounding like Richard Simmons. I did a 30 minutes routine 5 days a week that included stretching, abs, and thighs, along with cadio of sometype and got amazing results. My husband even noticed and there are bikini picutres I am not ashamed to show people. The only down side is there is no next step. After a while i got bored with the routine and wanted to move up a level. What to do?

I start to do pilates from the day I got this DVD. I liked music, I liked the speed, although some movement I couldn't catch up at beginning, but weeks by weeks, my body got stronger and slender, and it turn into such a fun thing to do it!
10 minutes each settion, 10 minutes for each area, I saw result in 2 week in my ab and waist line(where most of women want to work on!)The most import result is, my lower back pain which bothered me for 4 years had gone since then!!!
PS, I am considered a slim girl always and love sports. So, not so sure whether this DVD is the right choice for the VERY beginners. ;)

I think Lara is a fantastic instructor and the workouts are really fluid with a lot of different moves so you don't get bored. I just wish there were more pointers for beginners or people who are not that flexible. I consider myself fairly athletic but some of the poses are just downright impossible for me to do (e.g. the teaser). Lara is so incredibly flexible, so watching her move through the poses with such grace only frustrates you while you're struggling to achieve only a fraction of what she can do. I know these workouts are supposed to be quick so she can't spend a lot of time giving instructions, but maybe they can have another person beside her doing modified moves? All in all, this is a pretty nice video and I just hope someday I can be as flexible as her.
